The location is fantastic, being just a short walk from Rideau Canal Visitor Centre. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating.- The room I booked online was exactly as expected, with a queen bed, private bathroom, king-size bed, and individual heating.

We stayed here for 1 night, the hotel was modern and clean, with marvellous location close to downtown. We thoroughly enjoyed rooms with independent heating.
Tbh Wi-Fi was very limited, and the bed was too soft.

The units are clean with a king-size bed. the setting is unbeatable and stunning, not far from the canal, center of town, and restaurant. - There's Milano Pizzeria offering takeout around a 10-15 minutes walk from the venue.

The rooms themselves are good, but tired. Staff were very friendly
The Location of the motel is in a very shabby. ---although the rear of the building is what you come to first it is still less than good. For the money I expected more!! The size of elevator was small and there was only one!!

The young man at the reception when I arrived was very helpful and pleasant. I liked having the restaurant close by, I liked the view of the water from my window. The bed was comfortable, the air was fresh. All around good.
When I entered the city, there was no sign for your hotel (only the old name, which did not help), and no street name on the roads, so I could not find it. I had to ask a few people before one women said it might be the old Comfort Inn. Your staff told me that the city keeps promising to update the signs. If Smiths Falls wants to increase tourism, they should be more proactive about these things. Also, Giant Tiger could be a better corporate player and do something to improve the ambiance around your hotel. Tearing up some of the asphalt and putting in some trees or shrubs might help.

the facility was under renovation. our room was one of the rooms that had already been renovated. it was clean and comfortable however, the lack of workmanship showed. the facility looked out over the Rideau canal which was the best part. the location within the town concerned us most as it seemed somewhat derelict. the outside of the building left little to be desired and we almost didn't stay but glad we did.

The manager was very friendly and helpful. Great restaurant beside.
Facility was very poor. Old, drafty Windows, the balcony with the great view of the river was block by concrete railing so you could only see if you went outside and went right to the edge and looked over. The building is just passed its prime. Turns out there had been a fire in the building and down the hall from us was closed off. Breakfast was basically toast. Beware web site shows too well.

The breakfast bar was a pleasant extra, staff always helpful and courteous, rooms are spacious and comfy. Open and inviting lobby.
Issues with dead keys, bathroom not usable by seniors or others with mobility problems.even public washrooms need to be upgraded to be accessible by all .

We arrived late. The recieprcient(Kris) was friendly and fast. he made sure that we get nice rooms facing the waterfront and a functioning Wifi. Rooms were good size with balconies.
The hotel is a bit hard to find, we weren’t sure if we are in the right place especially with the sign still clearly showing the old name. Half of our floor (4th) was under maintenance which may not be a good choice if you have a toddler with you. Our kids are old so it was okay.

Staff and customer service was good
Location was not very scenic and also not very much effort was put into the interior decoration to compensate for the exterior.
